In the Vayaviya Tantra, it is said that Brahma, the engineer of this particular universe, contemplated a great wheel which could enclose the universe.

The hub of this great circle was fixed at a particular place known as Naimasarayna. Similarly, there is another reference to the forest of Naimasaranya in the Varaha Purana, where it is stated that by performance of sacrifice at this place, the strength of demoniac people is curtailed. Thus brahmanas prefer Naimasaranya for such sacrificial performances.
Naimasaranya is a very famous and sacred forest in northern India, where all the rishis and sages, generally go to aid their spiritual advancement of life. This Srimad-Bhagavatam was first discussed in this age in that forest.
The sages of Naimasaranya were very respectful in hearing about Maharaja Pariksit because of his receiving knowledge from Sukadeva Gosvami by means of submissive hearing. Ardent hearing from the bona fide master is the only way to receive transcendental knowledge, and there is no need for medical performances or occult mysticism for miraculous effects. The process is simple, but only the sincere party can achieve the desired result.
The sages at Naimasaranya declared,
“We never tire of hearing the transcendental pastimes of the Personality
of Godhead, who is glorified by hymns and prayers. Those who enjoy association
with Him relish hearing His pastimes at every moment” (SB 1.1.19).
