Sweet Lassi
2 cups yoogurt
2 tbls Sugar
1/3 cup of rose water
3 cups of water
Take the cold yogurt and pour it in the mixer and mix it for about 3 minutes along with the sugar and rosewater.
Make sure that it does not have any solids and it is mixed properly.
Add the rest of the water and mix . Place in refrig until cold. Mix again before serving.
Mango Lassi
1 1/4 cups plain yogurt
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup fresh mango pulp
1/3 cup cold water
4 tablespoons honey or sugar
9-10 standard-size ice cubes.Blend everything but the ice cubes in the blender until the sugar or honey is dissolved. Add the ice and blend until frothy!
Honeydew Lime Cooler
The flavors of sweet honeydew, tart lime, and juicy red grapes combine in this smooth summer drink.
1 small honeydew melon
½ cup seedless red grapes
½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
½ cup honey
2 cups sparkling waterCut melon in half, scoop out seeds, peel, and cut into 1-inch cubes. Wash grapes well and remove stems. Freeze melon and grapes for one hour.
Combine frozen melon and grapes with lime juice and honey in a blender. Puree until smooth, adding water as needed. Serve immediately.
Dry Ginger Drink
30 gms Dry Ginger
4 tsp Sugar
10 gms Freash coriander seeds
4 Glasses Freash water:Heat about 4 glasses of water , then add the dry ginger , coriander seeds , sugar .
Let the water boil for about 5 minutes , then strain the water.
Serve hot or Ice cold.
Ginger lemon drink
1/4 cup Sugar
1¼ cups Water
600 ml. Freshly ground ginger paste
½ tsp Lemon Juice
½ cup Crushed ice As requiredIn a pan mix the sugar, water and ginger.
Stir on a medium flame till it forms into a syrup.
Add the lemon juice, strain and keep aside.
Cool .To serve add 2 tbsps. of the syrup to a glass of chilled water and add crushed ice
Sherbet
1 bunch Grapes, green, seedless
3 tb Sugar finely ground granulated sugar
1/2 ts Pepper, ground
1 ts Cumin seeds; roasted & ground
1/2 ts Salt
2 ts Lemon juice
3 cups Water, chilled
3 leaves of freash MintWash grapes and crush them thoroughly. Pour in water. Mix well. Strain through a sieve. Add all the seasonings. Mix well. Chill. Serve, garnished with mint leaves.
Buttermilk
100 grams of Chilled yogurt
a pinch of Black pepper
Roasted cumin powder a pinch
Salt per taste.Churn the Yogurt till it becomes smooth.
Pour in 1½ cup of water and mix till blended.
Add the salt and black pepper.
Pour into a glass and serve garnished with roasted cumin powder.
Fruit drink
4 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Pineapple
3 peeled Oranges
Sqeeze 1 Lemon
Cherries 1 container
1 container of Pineapple slicesBoil sugar in 2 cups water for 10 minutes.
Cool and blend all the remaining ingredients well.
Store in refrig chill and serve with crushed ice.
Hot Banana Saffron Milk
2 Cups Milk
5-6 Strands of Saffron
1 tbs Clover Honey
2 Ripe Bananas
Heat milk to a boil
Add saffron and honey
Blend bananas until smooth then add to Hot milk mixture.
Continue to stir untill the milk takes on a yellowish color from the saffron.
tranfer Hot milk form one container to another several times until the hot milk seems airy, then serve.
