On the Purnima (Full Moon) Day in the month of Ashadha (July-August) known as "Guru Purnima", many travelers gather and wait to gain entrance
into this very holy place.

Inside the cave is a statue of Srila Vyasa,  many pilgrims visit and perform Vyas puja in a very individual, simple and sincere fashion.
