When time came for the creation to begin, Vishnu removed the darkness.
The first object to appear was water and Vishnu lay on this water.
Since nara means water and ayana means resting-place,
Vishnu is accordingly also known as Narayana.

From Vishnu's navel sprouted a Lotus Flower, Brahmaji soon after appeared atop it.

Brahma’s first act was to meditate on the goal of life.
It was while he was meditating that the Vedas were revealed to him from with in his heart.
He then distributed that knowledge.

Krsna consciousness  is so nice. Here Kunti devi, a great devotee,
is giving us an opportunity to become Krsna conscious:
by simply concentrating your mind on a lotus flower.
That’s all. A Lotus flower. As soon as you see a lotus flower, you will immediately think
of Namah pankaja-nabhaya. “Oh, Krsna’s navel is just like a lotus flower.
from the navel of  Krsna there was a stem of a lotus flower,
and from that lotus flower, Brahma came out. And Brahma created this universe.
This universe means so many planets, so many seas,mountains and cities, motorcars, everything.
Within that lotus flower, the beginning is set into motion ”  Namah pankaja-nabhaya. And Namahpankaja-maline.
Such a wonderful lotus flower contains the seedling of the whole universe.
