1) One should remove one's shoes before entering the Temple room.2) One should make a sound (knock on the door or ring the bell) and chant the Name of the Deities upon entering the Temple room.
3) One should pay obeisances to the spiritual master upon entering the Temple room.
4) One should not sit or pay obeisances with one's feet toward the spiritual master or the Deities.
5) One should not stand with one's back to the spiritual master or the Deities.
6) One should not step over or touch one's feet to devotees or sacred paraphernalia such as prasadam, scriptures, chanting beads, etc.
7) One should not touch sacred paraphernalia to the ground or bring them into the bathroom.
8) One should wear clean clothes and wash oneself after evacuating, before coming before the Deities.
9) One should touch prasadam only with one's right hand and should wash one's hands and mouth after eating.
10) One should avoid speaking about nondevotional topics in front of the Deities and one should not argue or raise one's voice before Them.
11) One should avoid belching or passing air in the Temple room.
