ANCIENT CAVE DISCOVERED
The cave was discovered recently and identified by the Seva Adhikari of Sri Radha Shyamsundar Mandir, Sri Krishna Gopalananda Deva Goswami, to be the Bhajan-kutir of Sri Shyamananda Prabhu. The cave and a raised platform appeared during digging of the foundation for the Raas Mandal in the temple compound of Sri Radha Shyamsundar Mandir in Vrindavan. Local authorities have calculated the cave to be approximately 500 years old.
The temple is currently undergoing a grand renovation and construction. The roof and walls of the original temple, built by the King of Bharatpur, will be renovated, a new preaching hall, temple kitchen, Goshala and new rooms for devotees & guests will be constructed and the temple area will be covered with a monkey protective cover and a movable roof (like in Radha Gokulananda Mandir). A new temple will be erected in the place where Srimati Radharani lost her ankle bell and the newly discovered Bhajan-kutir of Shyamananda Prabhu will be renovated.
Sri Shyamananda Prabhu appeared in West Bengal in the village Dharenda / District Midnapur. After accepting Krishna Mantra Diksha from Srila Hridaya Chaitanya Adhikari in Sripat Ambika, he arrived in Vrindavan.
Once while cleaning the Kunj of Rasasthali of Nidhuvan, Sri Shyamamanda Prabhu found the ankle bell of the left leg of Srimati Radharani. He also received the very rare darshan of Srimati Radharani after taking bath in Sri Radhakunda and chanting the Radha mantra, which is complete in all six opulences. With great mercy Srimati Radharani decorated the forehead of Sri Shyamananda Prabhu with a bright Tilak including a Bindi and then manifested the beautiful Deity Sri Shyamsundarji from her heart. She then gave the Vigraha to Sri Shyamamanda Prabhu and said: "Oh Shyamananda! To easily deliver the fallen souls in Kali-yuga, I am presenting this Sri Vigraha to you."
Fortunate persons visiting Sri Sri Shyamsundarji at least once with spiritual vision would attain Prema Bhakti and be delivered from the vicious cycle of birth and death and reach the very rare abode of Sri Krishna. Inauspiciousness, ill-luck and heinous offence would never stay in his house.
Any person who visits Sri Shyamsundarji everyday and performs service by regularly cleaning the Sri Mandir, by smearing with cow dung, hoisting a flag on top of the Sri Mandir and decorating it with emblems, arranging for a flower bungalow, giving new garments, very decorative ornaments, donation, high quality Naivedya (offering to the Deity), would enjoy happiness and all opulence which are desired even by the Demigods.
Those fortunate persons who walk around Sri Radha Shyamsundar Mandir four times will get all their cherished desires fulfilled.
Sri Shyamananda Prabhu installed the eternal, spiritual and beautiful Sri Shyamsundarji, received from Srimati Radharani, with a grand function in Seva-kunja, Vrindavan.
