Srila Jagannatha Das Babaji Maharaj
He was the siksa-guru and babaji-guru of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur. Srila Bhaktivinoda was known to be especially fond of hearing his discourses on Srimad Bhagavatam. Although physically crippled, Srila Jagannatha Das danced in divine inspiration upon seeing the holy birth-place of Lord Sri Chaitanya
Mahaprabhu, which had been discovered by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur.

He was known to sometimes chant the holy name continuously for several days and nights in a row without sleeping and eating. After the completion of his vow, he would breakfast upon flat rice and yogurt prasada.

It is said that he lived for 125 years, and was known and revered by all the devotees of both Vrndavana and Nabadwip. He was a siddha-mahapurusa, a perfectly realized soul.

"The great venerable Gransire of pure devotion loved by all Vaisnavas of both Nabadwipa and Vrndavana - I worship the feet of that great Vaisnava guru, the ocean of love, Srila Jagannatha Prabhu."
